The Washington band, Enumclaw, have shared a new single, “Not Just Yet,” off of their new album, Home In Another Life. The new album is set for release on August 30 via Run For Cover Records. Alongside the release of “Not Just Yet,” is a music video directed by John C. Peterson. It’s been described as pretty epic and explosive.

“Not Just Yet” juxtaposes a grandiose musicality with a tenderly written and distressed ode to members, Aramis Johnson and Eli Edwards’ Uncle Mike. Mike was recently diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimers. Aramis is clamoring for more time with the man who taught him everything and shouts in disbelief overtop of Ladaniel Gipson’s arena-shaking drums.
John C. Peterson on filming “Not Just Yet”:
“This video all started with a painting that Andrew Durgin-Barnes did for Rizzo and Quasi Skateboards. Barnes’painting screamed a story so I’d always wanted to adapt it to a one-take music video. Once I told Aramis my idea over a year ago, he was always adamant we had to do it. “Not Just Yet” was the perfect song for it. Short and sweet. Loud. We did our best to bring the painting to life and I think we did it justice. It was extremely gratifying to have Barnes there on set and approve of what we were doing. We encountered a million problems in pre-production and the video almost fell through countless times…turns out doing a music video that requires a techno-crane, a city alley, explosives, children is difficult to pull off.”
Home in Another Life was co-produced by Ben Zaidi and Enumclaw and is the natural expansion of the high-octane rock foundation that was built with their widely praised 2022 debut album, Save The Baby. This new album has eleven tracks and the vocalist and principle songwriter, Aramis Johnson cracks open his chest cavity for quaking tender songs both written and performed to electrify basment shows and reverberate throughout arenas in equal measure. Aramis and Enumclaw write and perform like a band wrestling with the weight of growing up, without others pitying or walling in that baggage.
