Fake Fruit have released the final single, “Gotta Meet You,” from their upcoming album Mucho Mistrust. The new album is due to release August 23 via Carpark Records. The new single continues to follow the volatile yet perceptive brand that they’ve been making for themselves.

Fake Fruit are a post-punk band based in Oakland, California. They feature Hannah “Ham” D’Amato, Alex Post, and Miles MacDiarmid. The band started as a songwriting project of the California native, Ham, who has spent time living and performing in New York City and Vancouver. After moving to the Bay Area back in 2018, she enlisted the help of Alex and Miles alongside a rotating cast of bassists to flesh out her songs.
Fake Fruit are setting out on an East Coast and Midwest tour of the United States this fall with stops such as New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia.
