Punk icons Goldfinger have released their new single, “Wallflower,” out now via frontman John Feldmann’s own Big Noise.

The song is lyrically a beautiful, love-filled ode to Feldmann’s wife, brought to life instrumentally with the same wild, ska-punk energy Goldfinger have been known for since their formation in 1994.

Feldmann says about the track: “This song is written for my wife who is truly everything to me. Until she found her place in L.A., she was a bit of a wallflower, but she was always with me. I also have an emotional attachment to the film Perks of Being A Wallflower, so combining that art with our classic, Space Girl imagery seemed like it tied it all together.”

The single marks the return of original guitarist Charlie Paulson to the band’s lineup, joining Feldmann, Mike Herrera, and Philip Sneed.

Feldmann recently teased that new music was coming from the band, with a new album expected later this year—the first for the band on Feldmann’s own label. More info is coming on this release very soon, so stay tuned to the band’s Facebook for more news!
