HUM have released Inlet, their first album in 22 years! The new LP arrives via Polyvinyl Records, and is currently available digitally from Bandcamp. You can listen here. Inlet will trickle to the other streaming services within the week. Several packages including CDs, T-shirts and vinyl are available for pre-order here. The wax is expected to ship later this summer.

The quartet formed in Champaign, IL in the late ’80s, and were a ’90s alt-rock staple. HUM had their greatest commercial success in 1995 with the album You’d Prefer an Astronaut and the radio hit “Stars”. Creative differences initially split them up at the end of 2000, but they’ve been playing much more regularly in recent years.
