Iggy And The Stooges’ James Williamson and Radio Birdman’s Deniz Tek have teamed up for the new album Two To One. The LP will feature 11 new tracks, and will drop September 18 through Cleopatra Records. It will be available digitally, on CD and on red, blue, yellow or black vinyl. Pre-order here.

Williamson says, “It was really a lot of fun working with Deniz to make a no-frills, good old-fashioned guitar album. Took me back to Raw Power and Kill City days.”

Tek adds, “Raw Power shaped my path as a young guitar player. It was great to partner up with James to make this album. Everything fell into place beyond expectations.”

Both men are legitimate punk guitar heroes. Williamson heavily influenced the genre with Michigan’s Iggy And The Stooges and their 1973 album Raw Power. Tek co-founded Radio Birdman in Sydney in 1974. They were among the very first Australian punk bands.
