Colorado-hailing doom outfit Khemmis will feature on Magnetic Eye’s Dirt [Redux], the label’s homage to the legendary Alice In Chains. Khemmis also have the privilege of having their cover of “Down In A Hole” be the debut single, check it out below!

Guitarist and singer Ben Hutcherson says:

I’ve loved this band since I discovered grunge and hard rock in my early teens. When we were presented with the opportunity to cover my favorite song from one of my favorite bands, I checked a pretty big item off my bucket list. It’s an honor to take such a powerful piece of music and re-imagine it through the creative lens of this band. We knew we wanted to stay true to parts of the song, particularly the chorus, but that we also needed to make it our own. Alice In Chains has long been one of the most important bands in my life.

This latest installment in Magnetic Eye’s “Redux” series sees a variety of bands from the stoner and doom community grouping together to pay homage to one of the milestone names in grunge. This album will include Khemmis, Thou, -(16)-, Howling Giant, Forming the Void, The Otolith (ex-SubRosa) and more!
