Orlando pop-punk/hip-hop phenoms Magnolia Park dropped two new EPs today via Epitaph Records entitled MoonEater and SoulEater. MoonEater represents the darker side of the band’s sound, with SoulEater representing the lighter side. Along with the release of the EPs comes the release of the new video for “Blud Luv” from the SoulEater EP which features the band’s keyboardist Vince Ernst sharing lead vocal duties with frontman Joshua Roberts. It follows previous singles “Breathing” off of MoonEater and “Manic” off SoulEater.
“We wrote Blud Luv in a hotel room on the A Day To Remember tour,” explain the band. “At first it was a basic PopPunk style song, but when we brought it in the studio, Decode made a house beat to the vocals, and it became a Party Anthem. A lot of inspiration came from Fredagain and the house music scene.” Check out the video for “Blud Luv” below, especially if you’re a big fan of vampire movies:
