Malevolence have released a new single titled “Trenches” which is about as ferocious and angry as the meeting of hardcore and metal can get. You’ve been warned.
Vocalist Alex Taylor states:
“‘Trenches’ is possibly the most aggressive, ignorant, and direct song we have ever written. Over the last few years, we’ve been playing more in the commercial metal circuit at festivals and arenas, so we wanted to take this opportunity to remind people that we still haven’t lost sight of where we came from. The lyrics are a declaration of not needing validation or approval and a rejection of those who never supported the journey but only show their face when you achieve some level of success.”
Ok. Aggressive and ignorant may not be two words we like to put together in the same sentence, but thankfully, they work here. Malevolence are currently on tour overseas with While She Sleeps, Thrown, and Resolve presumably cracking concrete and destroying posers with their sonic weaponry at the dates below.
