News: Mammoth Grinder Release Video for New EPs Title Track

Mammoth Grinder

Mammoth Grinder have released a live video for the title track to their new EP due out November 15 via Relapse Records. “Undying Spectral Resonance” was filmed during Mammoth Grinder’s massively mammoth performance of the song at Underground Arts in Philadelphia last month during their tour supporting Nails.

Founding member Chris Ulsh states:

“I was trying to draw from the last record because I felt like I found our sound on that one.”

If Mammoth Grinder look a bit different, it’s because they’re sporting a a revamped lineup featuring Sebastian Phillips of Noisem/Exhumed on guitar, Andy Horn of Richmond’s Loud Night on bass, and Ryan Parrish of Iron Reagan remaininh on drums. Vocalist Chris Ulsh (Power Trip, Devil Master, etc.) has switched from bass to guitar.

Ulsh played all the instruments and all the vocals on Undying Spectral Resonance, which was recorded at long-time collaborator Arthur Rizk’s new home studio outside of Philadelphia.

What should you expect from Undying Spectral Resonance? How about five tracks of the heaviest, filthiest, old-school death metal Earth can handle before tearing apart at the seams.
