Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation have pledged $350,000 to four different organizations dedicated to assisting those hit hardest by the Covid-19 pandemic.
First is Feeding America, who work with a collection of local food banks to react to the needs of specific communities. Get more info or donate here.

Then there’s Crew Nation, who in conjunction with Live Nation, support venue workers and touring personnel. Get more info or donate here.
Finally there’s the USBG Charity Foundation, and more specifically the Bartender Emergency Assistance Program, who assist bartenders, bar backs and bar servers who have suddenly found themselves out of work. Get more info or donate here.
The band has also launched the “Metallica Mondays” streaming series. Every Monday at 5:00 pm PST, they will stream a full concert from their video archives through Facebook Live and YouTube. Generous fans enjoying the series have already donated $15,000 to All Within My Hands. Get more info here.
It’s nice to see the biggest band in heavy metal, if not the biggest band in all of rock and roll, giving back. Hopefully other successful artists will follow Metallica’s example.
