Nightwish have recently released their new record Yesterwynde, and since then on, the band have released various episodes to let the fans know more about the creation of the album. Now they are back with a full-length 45-minute documentary directed by Ville Lipiäinen, which tells the complete history of the album. The new album is the last part of the trilogy which began with Endless Forms Most Beautiful in 2015.
The album’s journey began a long time before its release date, which is September 20. It started with early demo playback sessions. When the band was on the road for their Human. :||: Nature. world tour, they started working with the record. The struggles of the band while being on the road and composing became an integral part of the album.
Multi-instrumentalist Troy Donockley says:

The band were also able to focus on polishing the sound of the album while they were away from the distractions of everyday life, and close to the nature. A very special moment of the documentary is how the talented vocalist Floor Jansen performed in the album. The artist gave everything possible to make it one of the finest records ever to be recorded by the band.
