Los Angeles death metal outfit Abysmal Dawn have announced North American tour dates providing direct support for Polish death metal kings Vader. The tour will take place throughout the entire month of February 2020 and will feature support from the brilliant Hideous Divinity as well.

As wicked as that entire tour package is, the band have also announced news of completing work on their fifth full length album. This will be the band’s first release for the prominent Season Of Mist Records and will see a release date sometime in 2020.
Abysmal Dawn commented: “We’re officially done with album number five It’s been quite some time since we released any new music, and we feel we have something special on our hands. It took a lot of time, effort, and seeing through some trying times to get to this moment. We’re very proud of the outcome and think fans will agree it was worth the wait. Musically, we’re pushing our limits more than ever, while still maintaining what people love about Abysmal Dawn. Now we take a quick breath before getting back once again to spreading our brand of misanthropic, extreme metal across the globe. See you on the road in 2020!”
The upcoming album will be the follow-up to the band’s 2014 release Obsolescence, which saw the band execute a nearly flawless death metal record with some of their most technically driven material to date. With a slight line-up change and the new Season of Mist record deal, it should be very exciting to watch the release of this album unfold.
