Prey Drive have released a music video for their song “More Than Magic” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s Tabula Rasa EP, which is scheduled to be re-released through Krod Records, with an upcoming album planned for the end of the year.
The band commented on the release – read below the video.
Brad wrote the song after the implosion of his 13 year relationship. The lyrics are about realising that no matter how hard two people try to fit a certain mould or act in certain ways, you can’t change who you fundamentally are.”
Musically, the song came together really quickly and it seemed to almost write itself. We feel like it encapsulates some of our biggest influences (Circa Survive, Thrice) and the video was great fun to make.
The whole thing, from concept to production, was by a good friend of ours; Charlie Wallis. We loved his idea of dressing Brad up like a magician and using hand flares for a big climax and we’re extremely pleased with the result.
We’re currently in the studio recording new material for our debut Album. We’d love to get it pressed to vinyl and we’re aiming at summer 2018 for the release!

About the band:
Norwich born rockers Prey Drive hit the music scene in 2016 after two of the band members played as session musicians for Johnny Craig’s project Slaves, which gave them the chance to tour all over and establish a flavour for the big stage and so Prey Drive was born, taking influence from the likes of Circa Survive, Thrice and Biffy Clyro.
