Rare Futures have announced West Coast tour dates with Heart Like Lions and RUMRS this December (see dates below).
Rare Futures (formerly known as Happy Body Slow Brain) is a GrooveRock band from New York City founded by Matt Fazzi. In the past, Fazzi has been a journeyman musician with Taking Back Sunday, The Dear Hunter, Atlas Genius, Rx Bandits, Facing New York, Gavin Caslteton, A Great Big Pile of Leaves, Into It Over It and more. Rare Futures meshes heavy prog-rock groove with 80s synthesizers and rich melody, giving nods to groups like Soundgarden, Tears For Fears, Jellyfish, and Sade. Their new album This Is Your Brain On Love was independently released March 25, 2016 via In The Clouds Records.
Hearts Like Lions is an alternative band from Long Beach, CA. Consisting of Vocalist/Guitarist Stephen Ramos, Bassist Luke Schoepf, and Drummer Nick Sturz, Hearts Like Lions is Tooth & Nail’s newest signing. The band released their debut ep in 2014, and have a new full-length album on its way in early 2017.
