If you’re a fan of the popular, cerebral cartoon Rick and Morty, then you probably heard the metal rendition of their theme song last week, at the end of the episode titled “Morty’s Mind Blowers.”

This wasn’t a random, generic metal cover, but a special track produced by Jason Suecof (Carnifex, Death Angel, Cryptopsy, Job For A Cowboy, Trivium) and drummer Alex Rudinger of Good Tiger and Conquering Dystopia (formerly of The Faceless and Threat Signal).

The cover aired during the credits at the end of the show, and pretty much sounded exactly how you’d expect a metal cover of the thematic song to sound, plus some serious skill from the musicians involved. Check out the video below to hear the rendition for yourself.
