State To State Release “My Little Phony” Music Video

LA-based atmospheric rock group State To State have just released the official video for their current single “My Little Phony” (watch below). Guitarist Andrew Orvis talked about the concept of the clip: “The video for ‘My Little Phony’ represents someone struggling through their life, barely holding on by a thread. As he spends another sleepless night running from the darkness and the demons in his life, he tries desperately to protect his inner light from finally burning out.”

“My Little Phony” is featured on the new EP Motives – the aurally compelling and crucial “next step” for the band, and follow-up to 2014’s No Bounds full-length. Motives is available February 5th.

To celebrate the release of the EP, the band will be playing a record release show at The Lost Room in Echo Park. Tickets can still be found here.

Since forming in 2010 the band have slowly been building the groundwork for success in Los Angeles with residencies at notable venues like The Viper Room and Hotel Cafe. They have also performed at the Pancakes and Booze pop-up art show as well as Eat See Hear & Street Food Cinema.

With Motives, State to State are ready to make waves within the Los Angeles alt scene, and with tour dates in the works for the coming months, they have their eyes set on the rest of the country.
