Levels are a metalcore band out of Arkansas. They have a new EP called Pulse coming out February 2 via SharpTone Records. To celebrate the upcoming album, they recently put out a new single and video called “Siren Hymn” which is now on YouTube.
In classic metalcore fashion, “Siren Hymn” beautifully marries powerful hard rock guitars with gorgeous melodic vocals. The video, directed by Orie McGinness and produced by Spvce Studio, features the band playing in a darkened room draped in red curtains, which creates for a perfectly appropriate gothic atmosphere to accompany the song. “‘Siren Hymn’ tells a story about the deep affection a person can have toward a significant other,” the band explains. “If you’ve ever experienced the bliss and the feelings that come along with entering and sustaining a loving experience, then you will relate to this track.
