Happy Friday, rockers! Shehehe are a punk-meets-power-pop band from Athens, Georgia. We previously featured their album Pet Songs four years ago for Bandcamp of the Day. Well, they’re back and gearing up for the release of their newest LP called Namedroppers on Say-10 Records on August 23, and the first single, “Love Wins,” is streaming right now on their Bandcamp.
“Love Wins” is a blazing power-pop track that’s deeply indebted to the likes of Cheap Trick, yet maintains a serrated punk edge to the sound. Lyrically, it’s a straight-forward love song with some classic, anthemic lyrics that deserve to be shouted passionately from the rooftops.
