Prog-rock legend and Jethro Tull frontman Ian Anderson continues to find ways to stay relevant in these strange days. His newest collaboration is an endorsement of The Virginia Hand Sanitizer Consortium. The group is made of of VA based breweries, wineries, distilleries and cider makers, working together on the formulation and sale of hand sanitizer.
The World Health Organization recommended standard 80% hand sanitizer will be sold to government agencies, and will also be donated to first responders, healthcare workers and local charities. Order your own here.
Anderson says, “A wee drop of the strong stuff! Of course for the hands only. Keep yourself safe, and by doing that you keep others safe too. All in a good cause, so choose this. The only officially sanctioned Jethro Tull sanitizer hand rub.”
Earlier this year, Anderson collaborated with noted German musician Leslie Mandoki on “#WeSayThankYou”. That song and video were also inspired by, and raised money for, people on the frontlines in the battle against Covid-19. Keep up the good work Mr. Anderson!
