Influential and iconic LA punks Bar Religion have released “What Are We Standing For”, a song they’re calling an outtake from last year’s Age of Unreason album.

The track was written in support of professional athletes and others who have taken a knee to protest police brutality and racism, in true Bad Religion style, as advocates for humanism, reason, and individualism, which has never been more important than it is in the current political climate.

Co-songwriter and guitarist Brett Gurewitz says: “In this time of tribal nationalism, dissent, as a form of political speech, is vital to democracy”.
