Jesse Michaels’ short lived, post Operation Ivy project Big Rig are preparing to reissue their sole 7″, Expansive Heart. The release will arrive around October 1st via 1-2-3-4 Go! Records, and will be a faithful reproduction of the original. Only 1000 copies will be available, with 800 on white and 200 on the “highway strip” color variant. Pre-order here.

Big Rig were rounded out by Doug Sangalang (Screw 32, Limp), Kevin Cross (The Nerve Agents) and Jeremy Goody (Pitch Black). They both formed and fell apart in 1993. Big Rig played one show, recorded a demo, and Expansive Heart for Lookout! Records. Michaels has also been in the news recently for releasing new music with his cult favorite Classics of Love project.
