Alternative artist Chad Tepper showcases his versatility while staying true to his roots in his new song “Trailer Park.” The wildly talented musician and social media star is joined by rapper Ryan Charles on the track.
The tune is upbeat, a pop-rock and country blend with the rap track from Charles. It’s three or four genres blended into one.
“I wrote it a couple months ago. It’s a song about having a party at the trailer park…I got my friend Ryan Charles on it…Honestly it’s one of my favorite songs,” Tepper says.
But the track is personal for Tepper, who grew up in a trailer park and often references his challenging childhood in his music. But this particular song celebrates that positives of that lifestyle, something the upbeat Tepper is known to do.
“It’s just a feel good, summer song,” Tepper continues. “I feel like if it went to country radio it be, like, the biggest song in the world.”
Actor, artist and producer Thomas Nicholas, who has carved out an impressive alternative and pop-punk music career following his American Pie days, helped write “Trailer Park”. Lit drummer Taylor Carroll played a part in the writing process while also producing the tune.
Tepper also has something cooking, currently talking with labels and prepping for shows. Keep an eye out on the independent artist’s work here.
