Alternative artist Chad Tepper released his latest track “i guess that’s life,” his first song of 2024. It continues the rising star’s momentum after he dropped his first, full-length album and partnered with Smash Mouth on the popular tune “Money” last year.
“It’s about life and how shit it is sometimes,” Tepper says about his newest track. “But with the right person in it, life can be better.”
Apart from a successful stretch professionally, Tepper recently got engaged. He says “i guess that’s life” was written for his fiancé.
“Sweetest soul I’ve ever met,” he continues. “One of the only reasons why I’m alive today.”
Apart from the successful songmaking, impressive collabs, and electric shows in front of massive crowds, Tepper is talented content creator. His light-hearted jabs at an impoverished lifestyle are both funny and thought provoking.
And they come from a place of experience. Tepper grew up in trailer parks and learned to look at poverty from a positive prism. The positivity shines in “i guess that’s life.”
“It’s just a fun, feelgood song. Something that you can sing along to,” Tepper concludes.
