News: Free Friends Release New Single “Last Flight”

Fresh to the pop punk scene, Free Friends is giving a new iteration to the long lasting genre. The band recently shared their latest single “Last Flight” their most recent release since their EP Blank Check which was released earlier this year.

The single is off of their upcoming EP, which features collaborations with artists such as Hit The Lights, glimmers, and Makeout. The track is filled with minimalistic lyricism and catchy hooks that draw from pop punk legacy, Blink-182 while also adding new elements to the genre with expanded instrumentation including cello.

Produced by Bryan Czap, known for his work with Dangerous Summer, as well as Matt Malpass, the song encapsulates the essence of pop punk with sonic brightness that juxtaposes heavy lyrical content, creating a balance of listenability and authenticity.

In addition to the upcoming release, the band has a nationwide tour on the horizon, kicking off on June 17, at The Recher Theatre with FRND CRCL and The Last Second Save.
