Following the success of their debut album Would You Miss It?, which received praise from both fans and critics for its heartfelt blend of punk, hardcore, and emo, Koyo are back with a new EP titled Mile A Minute. This work, composed of three songs, reflects the band’s roots and their evolution moving forward.

Today, the band shared a new version of “Ten Digits Away (Deluxe),” one of two tracks from previous releases that have been reimagined for this EP. The new version of “Ten Digits Away” preserves the essence of the original but with a more intimate approach. Koyo’s vocalist, Joey Chiaramonte, explains:

“‘Ten Digits Away’ came about during the creation of ‘Would You Miss It?’ and we immediately felt it was a quintessential Koyo song. We decided to release it as a standalone single almost two years before the album because we knew it would shine on its own. Now, two years later, and a year after WYMI? came out, we feel like the original version got a bit overshadowed by our newer music. So, to give this perfect Koyo song the attention it deserves, we created ‘Ten Digits Away (Deluxe)’ as a more intimate and polished rendition—not just a lazy acoustic version thrown together, but a real effort of love and care to celebrate this milestone track in a new light. We hope everyone feels the love and attention to detail when they listen.”
