News: Militarie Gun Drop New EP ‘Life Under The Sun’

LA’s Militarie Gun have released their new guest-filled EP, Life Under The Sun, via Loma Vista Recordings.

The EP strips back a selection of songs from the band’s breakout debut album, Life Under The Gun, which was released last summer, putting Ian Shelton’s intensely personal songwriting center stage.

Along with the previously shared singles “Never Fucked Up Twice” featuring Bully’s Alicia Bognanno and “Very High (Under The Sun),” the EP includes new single “My Friends Are Having A Hard Time” featuring Manchester Orchestra, plus Mannequin Pussy on a new version of “Will Logic,” and a cover of the NOFX track “Whoops I OD’d.”

Life Under The Sun arrives as Militarie Gun kick off their headline North American tour—a 31-date trek across the country—wrapping on March 9 in Seattle, WA. Support for the North American tour comes from Pool Kids and Spiritual Cramp with Death Lens, Spaced, and Roman Candle on select dates.

Militarie Gun will also be performing at Coachella, LDB Fest, Welcome To Rockville, Sonic Temple Festival, Primavera Sound, and Bonnaroo this year in addition to their headlining shows. See details for all upcoming shows and ticket information at
