Surviving members of Nirvana Krist Novoselic, Dave Grohl, and Pat Smear are coming together for one night to perform live under the name Dave Grohl & Friends. The performance will take place on January 4, 2020, in Los Angeles at the Art of Elysium for an arts nonprofit event called Heaven. Buy your tickets here!
Dave Grohl & Friends will be one of the headliners for this special night alongside Cheap Trick, Marlyin Manson, and L7. Also, there will be additional performances by Beck, St. Vincent, and Violet Grohl, Grohl’s daughter.
Krist Novoselic was the bassist of Nirvana from the start, back in 1987. Grohl joined as Drummer in 1990, replacing Chad Channing. Shortly after, Guitarist Pat Smear joined in 1993 until Cobain’s death in 1994.
