LA based pop punk trio, Sweet Gloom recently released their latest single “Deal Me Peace,” via Asian Man Records. The track is the second single off of the band’s upcoming album “Reverie,” set to release later this Summer. In addition to the track, the band has released a music video to accompany it.
The song’s upbeat tone, in tandem with it’s melancholic lyricism, creates the perfect balance of emotions that is reflected in the video as well. The video follows drummer Morris Carillo as he goes through a typical morning routine, all the while being shadowed by the grim reaper. The video blends comedy and the macabre for a delightful accompaniment to the song.
In support of their album release this summer, the band will also be touring through the month of June with Startle.
