Having made a name for themselves in the past 10 years of their operation, LA’s The Aquadolls are onto their next big thing. The Aquadolls have announced the release of their latest single “Far Far Away” out May 12. Following their last single “Burn Baby Burn,” the track takes on a lighter feel with more pop influences, but still showcases the cohesion of the singles through the catchy melodies and bright harmonies.
The track is the last single before the release of the band’s fifth album, “Charmed,” out June 2. A perfect slice of summer, the single serves up a punchy bass line and an upbeat melody that gets the blood pumping with a clever catchiness. Produced by Chris Szczech, famous for his work with The Goo Goo Dolls, the track blends both pop and rock in a way that’s true to the band.
The track is for those forced into 9-5 workdays even when the weather is warm and the whole world seems to be having fun. The song itself offers up a diversion from the mundanity of the day-to-day work grind.
