Richmond, VA doom metal band Windhand will appear on Austin’s Levitation Sessions. Their performance will premiere at 7PM CT on November 14 and you can get tickets here.

On the soon to premiere performance, Windhand had the following to say:
“It was great to get together with the band after so many months apart, to plug in all the gear and let the demons loose once again. For a moment there it almost felt like being back on the road. We got to work with our old friends like Jonathan Kassalow (lighting and organ), and frequent music video collaborator Jordan Vance. They pulled it all together and made the show a heavy visual experience to pair with the audio which was recorded and mixed by our live sound engineer, Chris Moore. We look forward to seeing you on the road sometime soon at a real show, but this is as close as we’ll get for now. Hope y’all enjoy.”
About the Levitation Session, as told by its organizers:
Our mission at Levitation is to be a platform where the art and music we love can thrive. Levitation Sessions are our way to support the bands and keep the music going. Just like a regular show, the majority of every dollar you spend goes to the artists we’re presenting. Launched in July, as a means of helping recoup lost touring income for artists on The Reverberation Appreciation Society record label, the concept has quickly expanded to include headliners like OSEES, Death Valley Girls along with Holy Wave and Ringo Deathstarr, with many more Sessions in the works.
