Caged View are sharing “Recycled Air (Redux)” from their new EP that dropped today, Parallax Distortion. Check it out below!

After turning heads with the release of New Fuel For An Old Fire on GGT Records in 2025, Caged View are back with another dose of driving post-hardcore. This time, the band teamed up with Second Engine Records, the new label launched by former GGT Records team member Rob Goff, for the release of their Parallax Distortion EP.

More than just a reissue, Parallax Distortion breathes new life into four select tracks pulled from the band’s original demo tape from 2022. The songs have been remixed and remastered by Dave Alcan (Love Letter, Still Motions) at Sound Field Studios in Richmond, VA, bringing added weight and clarity to material that helped define the band’s early sound. Two tracks, “Recycled Air (Redux)” and “Desert Yard (Redux),” push even further into new territory, featuring electronic elements and reimagined arrangements from Isaac Fratini of Allegiance and Killing The Dream.

While Parallax Distortion stands on its own as a look back at the first chapter of the band, it’s also a sign of what’s ahead. You can consider this release the first chapter in a new partnership between Caged View and Second Engine Records, with more to come in the near future.
