Driven Fear
Freethinker
(Pee)
Hardcore punk from Australia, Driven Fear are cut from the same cloth as Good Riddance, Defeater even Canada’s I Spy, and embrace the time honored hardcore traditions of gang vocals, giant breakdowns, and anthemic thundering. Quick, powerful and frenetic, all the hallmarks of your favorite HC albums are present here, and the band are skilled enough to switch gears with gentler guitars on occasion, though the vocals are throaty all the way through. This is what the general public thinks all hardcore punk sounds like, only it’s more fierce and even better than they could imagine. (Tom Haugen)
