Powerful and dramatic hard rock from South Florida, this young trio channel all the best aspects of classic metal as well as modern rock sounds while rarely sitting in the same place too long. While a couple tracks are thick and muscular, there’s also a ballad, and my personal favorite, the anthemic, driving of “Cry Of War,” that’s in line with all the best fist-pumping punk tunes. Strong musicianship, including a handful of guitar solos, memorable singing and a lot of diversity that teeters quite close to prog-rock demonstrate a potential here that’s just getting started.
