Sure, there may be a predictable moment here or there, but for the most part, Hatebreed are not a band known to let down. On their seventh full-length LP, they still bring the hard-hitting numbers backed by inspiring, positive lyrics that most of us can relate to. Tracks like “Walking the Knife,” “Serve Your Masters,” and “Looking Down the Barrel of Today” (which I recommend checking out the video for as well) all do an admirable job at packing the punches. If you’ve never listened to Hatebreed before, don’t write them off based on your first impression alone. Where some of you may hear just noise, I hear motivation. (Jesse Striewski)
