Savage Henry and the Infamous One Pounders
Get Off Easy
(Self-Release)

Saskatoon, Canada’s Savage Henry and the Infamous One Pounders has released their fourth album of what they call “spunk rock” and that pretty much sums up the sound here. Lots of dirty, filthy, crude, lewd and fun punk songs to piss off your parents, the straights and other tight asses, but put a smile on your face with the craziness on display here.

“Get Off Easy” is a blistering track that has fast licks, gritty vocals, and a driving beat that sets things off with a bang. “Big Mama” is next and if it doesn’t offend someone that you know, you must know only cool people because the chorus is hilarious and will not be something to sing to your mom and dad, or at church, but it did make me laugh out loud and play it on repeat about five times before I moved onto the other songs. The playing is remarkably tight and the production is clean and crisp, which makes the lyrics all the better to hear. The songs are super catchy and will have you singing along to them in no time at all. As I listen to the rest of the album, I just started laughing and realized how rare a punk album had that ability anymore, to make me smile because of the PC police and the lousy songs that are out there on so many punk albums nowadays. I really can’t tell you what other songs stood out because I really loved the whole thing, every song and the hilarious lyrics.

If you are PC, you had better skip this one, but if you find masturbating and songs about breasts funny, then you have found the fountain of goofy fun. Get this, turn it up and see how many people you can piss off.
