Jadewick have released a new single, titled “Swimming with the Numb” (listen below). The band commented on the song:
‘Swimming with the Numb’ is about being a slave to nostalgia and the effects of letting your lust run wild for someone you love. It’s about knowing the differences between growing with someone versus the idea of chasing the people you were when it began. Once that realizations is met, you look back on the things and ideas you tried to impose on that person based on the memories of past lives, and you are disgusted that you ever loved someone based on just your own perception of them.
Recently partnering up with Prairie State Records, Jadewick started in the summer of 2016 in their hometown of Memphis, TN. They combine elements of post rock and post hardcore to create their entirely unique sound. They have done small tours in the south and Midwest, and will be heading out in October for a Midwest run with friends Jr. Clooney.
