Black Tusk’s sixth and latest studio album, TCBT, is a glowing example of the group’s stalwart dedication to the craft after their previous full length, Pillars of Ash, had to sadly appear posthumously after the passing of their ever charismatic bassist, Jonathan Athon. With a heavy heart, Black Tusk decided to honor Athon’s memory by carrying on and recruiting veteran musician and already longtime friend Corey Barhorst (ex-Kylesa) to take over his duties on the low end.
It’s this unerring musical vision that keeps taking care of business, and Taking Care of Black Tusk.
