Sacramento punk band Destroy Boys have released a video for their most recent single “Shadow (I’m Breaking Down),” out now via Hopeless Records. The video includes footage from the band’s time on tour throughout this year.
“Our friend Dez came along with us for a few shows and beautifully captured the experience. The song is all about mental health and seeing your shadow,” vocalist and guitarist Alexia Roditis says of the video. “Playing shows and writing music help me transmute negative experiences into positive ones. Duality is showcased by presenting our on-stage personas side by side with our off stage antics.”
The band kicked off their touring season with an appearance at Coachella then followed up with a two week run in support of Blink-182 and Turnstile. They then kicked off their new DestroyFest where they headlined shows in New York and Chicago. After rounding out this touring season in the U.K. and at Mind the Gap Festival on August 26 in Salt Lake City, Destroy Boys will pick back up with dates in support of Pierce The Veil starting in November.
