NYHC heroes H2O have joined forces with Liquid Death to quench your thirst for live music, with their ‘Live At Toby’s’ stream show, streaming on February 26.
Direct from frontman Toby Morse’s home in Los Angeles, the event will feature H2O’s first EVER stream show, filmed Covid-safe and socially distanced, as well as story-telling segments with special guests, and a candid, never-before-seen glimpse of the band behind-the-scenes and at home.
“We haven’t performed together in over a year and a half, and with [longtime guitarist] Todd Morse in even longer. Playing these songs together was very therapeutic for us, and makes us miss touring even more.”
Almost 13 months to the day since their last show, fans can tune in to the H2O X Liquid Death broadcast and bring the mosh pit to their living room, with a setlist of tracks spanning the bands’ 25+ year-long career.
The show goes out at 5 PM PST/ 8 PM EST on Friday, February 26, and is available on-demand until Sunday, February 28 at 11:59 PM EST.
From their formation in 1994, H2O quickly became an integral part of the NYHC scene, creating a true definition for the term “melodic hardcore” and creating a household name for themselves in their first decade.
Re-emerging in 2008 with Nothing To Prove, the band reignited their relevance and introduced their positive hardcore to a whole new generation of fans. 2011’s Don’t Forget Your Roots shared the band’s wide range of influences with fans in their own unique way, with 15 covers including The Clash, The Mighty Mighty BossTones, and so many more in between.
H2O’s latest release was 2015’s Use your Voice, another album filled with PMA and important life lessons, and the band toured worldwide relentlessly, including an unforgettable 25th Anniversary Tour in North America and Europe and the Persistence tour in Europe, until the pandemic hit last year.
