Self Torque are a punk outfit out of Brighton, U.K. They recently released a new EP called No Rest for the Depressed on Not Saints, the only U.K. label dedicated entirely to artists in recovery from addiction. The video for the song “No Rest” off the new EP is now streaming on YouTube.
“No Rest” is a powerful punk tune characterized by a forceful, driving drumbeat and strong melodies in the vocals and guitars. The video is a stark depiction of depression that plays out on the darkened streets of the U.K. to create a distinct sense of tone and mood. Check out the music video below.
